Bought the airpods pro around 3 weeks back, from a retail store here in India, Kerala. Initially went to Imagine stores LuLu mall, Kochi but they were sold out so visited the nearby Lulu connect electronic store, got the product for a hefty Price tag, but the product is worth it.
I have been using the Airpods 1 for nearly a year but by the end of August, I lost it, I tried to use the find my feature in the iPhone and was out of luck. I think apple to improve this feature, not only;y in the airpods, because once they are out in long-range it will be difficult to track them, also they should provide with a good security feature for the airpods in a way that once they are paired to a particular users iPhone it must be difficult to pair with another users iPhone unless prompted for the users login password or something .
So for a few months, I was left out from the Airpods as I lost the only pair I had, so I decided to wait until the release of the airpods pro.
The retail price for airpods in India is, much higher than those available abroad it costs nearly 25,000/- INR. I think the price is worth it because, for the Bose QC which is an over the ear headphone, it costs nearly 20,000, which compared to the airpods pro, which are small portable and still delivers the good audio quality as well as the Active Noice Cancellation.
The highlight of the product is the Noice Cancellation feature which can be turned on and off by just pressing the pressure-sensitive button on the stem of the airpods pro. Pressing once will pause/play/attend/cancel calls, hard press turns on the ANC, double pressing helps in changing tracks. the ANC feature block out most of the noises around u and helps t\u concentrate on the audio, example when watching a movie without ANC you are disturbed by the sound of the fan/AC, turning on theANC block out these noises also you don't need to increase the volume when using the ANC, just keep the Audio at medium and enjoy the track. But it doesn't block out the car horns or birds cry etc.
Coming to sound quality its good, as they are an in-ear type it helps in masking out and also gives a little Bass to the music/audio.
Coming to the battery life they are Ok, not drastic or anything they can last up to 4 to 4.5 hours max when the ANC is turned on and without that, you will Get up to 4.5 hr to a max 5 hrs, the case charges up the airpods fast.
The best thing about the airports all the connectivity in the works seamlessly you can just open the case and get the iPod connected instantly, Once you’re connected to a particular device that is the means means when you have been connected to an iPhone connectivity to your other devices that have been linked to the same account will be seamless and easy
I think that I noted particularly to these airpords,I mean the airpord’s pro- is that the kind of smell a little fruity I don’t know if others have experienced it or not but I have read the post on Reddit saying that people are experiencing a slightly fruity odor from the tips of the AirPods The tips meaning do with the silicon tips
Overall I think the Airpords Pro and are a good addition to the latest Apple family especially due to the addition of active noise cancellation and the silicone tips which make the fits snug, the only thing that I find lacking is the security feature, you see the airpods doesn’t have too much of security that is when you lose an airpod only thing that you can do check the find my iPhone app to check out the location and while using this you can only track Airpods when you are in close proximity y with the particle device when it is in a long-range you can’t even find it. I would suggest Apple bring in new method of finding your lost AirPods by including a good security feature meaning that whenever someone has taken/stolen the airpods and when they try to connect it to their particular device the phone should ask for the initial users login details/passcode and if at all they connect it the airpods should give a warning message to the original owner of the device.
I 'll give it a rating of 8 out of 10 mainly because of the sound quality active noise cancellation.
